LA Olympic Branding
Brainstorming
While researching LA, I noticed the colors were so vibrant and that there was so much life in the area. Specifically from the warm inviting sunsets. I drew inspiration from those colors and the geometric shapes of the buildings.


Personal Goals
There are so many different events and assets to create for events this large. For my first try I wanted to try and keep it simple with a bold hierarchy so the audience would know where to look first for key details.
The Framing
When creating the frames, I wanted to let the images of the athletes be a highlight for their sections. I used a grid to reinforce that.


Windows
The windows started as a way to show the different Olympic sports, but they soon reminded me of the athletes themselves. There are no easy corners to cut, and we only catch a glimpse of their dedication, much like looking through a window.
